All Y’alls Foods Globally Certifies Vegan with BeVeg

The Texas company announces its vegan certification as it rolls out in big-name stores across the country.

WEST PALM BEACH, FL, UNITED STATES, May 21, 2020 / — Texas-All Y’alls Foods, the maker of “It’s Jerky Y’all” officially announces its BeVeg vegan product certification for all of their current & forthcoming snacks. This comes on the heels of its debut in 85 H-E-B stores.

“We want our customers to be confident that all we offer is 100% vegan. With BeVeg’s stringent requirements and vegan focused mission we are excited to have their official vegan certification trademark on our packaging as we enter the major grocery chains. A trusted vegan claim is important to our brand audience,” says All Y’alls Foods CEO Brett Christoffel.

After an extensive review of All Y’alls Foods production practices, trade secrets, and ingredients, their tasty vegan snacks passed the detailed BeVeg vegan certification process. These meat alternative protein snacks use whole non-GMO soybeans, and also contain antioxidants and phytonutrients that are linked to various health benefits. These snacks do not use any preservatives or toxic chemicals, and they are cholesterol-free.

Vegan labeling law, or lack thereof, is a serious matter, as vegan claims without certification often lack merit. Current laws do not require all ingredient, supplier, and process disclosures in order to claim “vegan” on packaging. In fact, existing laws do not hold vegan claims accountable at all since the word vegan is not even a recognized or defined term within the law.

BeVeg law firm has set out a vegan standard. Products and businesses that believe in consumer transparency understand the importance of certifying vegan. BeVeg is on a mission to define and carve out a legally defined and globally recognized vegan standard. BeVeg demands honest information and only licenses use of its vegan logo to conscious companies in alignment with the lawyer set out vegan standards, as outlined at When you see the BeVeg vegan certified logo you know that that product proved its vegan claim to protect the vegan interest, which the law does not currently protect.

All Y’alls Foods was chosen as one of H-E-Bs 2019 twenty Primo Picks out of 846 entrants, which has given them the privilege of being on H-E-B shelves. However, while these little vegan snacks are now a big deal (as one would expect coming out of Texas where everything is bigger) these BeVeg vegan certified snacks are also at all y’alls fingertips with just a click. In a time with imposed social distancing guidelines, these vegan jerky snacks can be delivered to your door in three delicious flavors, including Black Pepper & Sea Salt; Prickly Pear Teriyaki; and Prickly Pear Chipotle.

Not only have these vegan jerky snacks won food awards for their good taste, but purchasing these snacks also makes you feel good. In addition to saving cows by making a delicious plant-based alternative, All Y’alls Foods also supports Rowdy Girl Sanctuary, a 501c3 non-profit in Waelder, Texas by donating a portion of their proceeds to the sanctuary. Notably, Rowdy Girl Sanctuary has the largest herd of rescue cows in Texas. In addition to caring for well over 100 animals they have a Ranchers Advocacy Program, which empowers ranchers and others in animal agriculture to shift to veganic farming and to keep operating their business, just in a new way. The BeVeg vegan certification fee went 100% to Jane Unchained News Network, a 501c3 non-profit media outlet for the animals.

It’s Jerky Y’all: Is the title sponsor for Rowdy Girl Sanctuary’s Vegan May Fest with Speaker Jane Velez-Mitchell

Vegan May Fest

From producing our product to giving back, kindness is the way It’s Jerky Y’all operates

May 4, 2018

Plant-based jerky brand It’s Jerky Y’all is the title sponsor for Rowdy Girl Sanctuary’s Vegan May Fest coming up on May 19, 2018, in Angleton, Texas. A day filled with vegan education, entertainment, food, and more, the event will feature keynote speakers Jane Velez-Mitchell, as well as Rowdy Girl Sanctuary Founder Renee King-Sonnen and husband Tommy and It’s Jerky Y’all spokesperson Kat Mendenhall.

“I’m just happy as I know how to be that Rowdy Girl Sanctuary is on the receiving end of such a passionate organization as All Y’alls Foods and their It’s Jerky Y’all.” Said Renee King-Sonnen “We’ve all been very excited as the launch of the company got closer and closer. And now, here it is! Partnering with “It’s Jerky Y’all” is the perfect fit because we used to raise livestock and sell them at auction, now we can enjoy the jerky without the cow!”

It’s Jerky Y’all got started when Native Texan Brett learned that beef was his great state’s most significant contribution to America’s stomachs. He set out to shift habits with a tastier, tender, 100% plant-based jerky made with zero animal involvement. Why plant-based jerky? Because plants deliver more protein with less impact on people, animals, and the planet. “The jerky business is a nearly 3 billion dollar industry — I thought it could use some kinder options,” Brett says. A portion of every sale goes to support Rowdy Girl Sanctuary.

“As a Texas vegan activist, it’s an honor to be a keynote speaker at the upcoming Vegan May Fest, May 19th at Rowdy Girl Sanctuary.” shares purveyor of vegan goods Kat Mendenhall. “There’s nothing more important to me than raising awareness and inspiring animal advocacy in my beloved Lone Star state. Built on trailblazers, Texas may be known as cattle country, but some savvy vegans are changing that perception like All Y’alls Foods. I’m thrilled for the opportunity to introduce them at May Fest as their official spokesperson. Texas is going vegan y’all!”

Most of all, Brett enjoys helping people understand they don’t need a cow to satisfy their craving for great jerky. All the protein in beef comes from the plant’s cows eat. “We cut out the middle critter because it’s better for every body,” he quips. “Head to Rowdy Girl Sanctuary’s Vegan May Fest to try our first 3 Texas-inspired It’s Jerky Y’all flavors: Black Pepper & Sea Salt, Prickly Pear Teriyaki, and Prickly Pear Chipotle.” It’s Jerky Y’all is proud to be a GO-TEXAN product, a program that celebrates Lone Star pride.

It’s Jerky Y’all is a certified non-GMO whole soybean product that is also Kosher and gluten-free and made in a level two certified Gluten Free & Kosher facility. Soy delivers ALL nine amino acids people need plus fiber, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and phytochemicals. Plant-based snacks help people skip saturated fats, cholesterol, hormones, antibiotics, or other issues associated with animal protein.

Tender, tasty plant-based jerky satisfies that snack craving without the cow and will be available to sample and purchase at the Grapevine Main Street Festival May 18, 19, 20th, 2018

May 1, 2018 | It’s Jerky Y’all is here to deliver delicious news to jerky fans everywhere:

The best jerky on the planet is 100% plant-based! It’s Jerky Y’all lets people sink their teeth into tender, tasty jerky made from whole, certified non-GMO soy with zero animal involvement.

Made in Texas, It’s Jerky Y’all comes in three flavors inspired by that great state. Each clean recipe features plants special to Texas, from the prickly pear to the pecan to the chipotle pepper:

Black Pepper & Sea Salt: classic savory flavors inspired by the gulf coast of Texas

Prickly Pear Teriyaki: ginger, garlic, and a hint of sweet inspired by Texas prairies and lakes

Prickly Pear Chipotle: a mix of sweet and heat inspired by the South Texas plains

Why plant-based jerky? Plants deliver more protein with less impact. Creator Brett Christoffel says, “What people may not realize is that all the protein in beef comes from the plants cows eat. We cut out the middle critter, because it’s better for every body.”

Brett set his sights on making the best tasting jerky on the planet, period. Soy delivers ALL 9 essential amino acids plus fiber, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and phytochemicals. Plant-based snacking is one way to skip saturated fats, cholesterol, hormones, antibiotics, or other issues associated with animal protein. It’s Jerky Y’all is also Kosher and gluten free.

“I love Texas, and I love jerky,” Brett says, “but what I love even more is giving people a new way to satisfy that craving.” It’s Jerky Y’all is proud to be a GO TEXAN product, a program that celebrates Lone Star pride and the plainspoken grit Texas is known for throughout the world.
